The Toyo Proxe T1-R is an ultra pefomrance tyre by Toyo. The T1-R has been around for some time now and is a very popular with young motorists and drives who are quiet into their cars. The reason it is so popular is because of it's looks and performance and the fact that it has gained certain notoriety for being a top performance tyre. The fact that it is also cheaper than all the premium range brands and to be honest there only a few makes that can match the performance of the T1-R. Our opinion the T1-R is still a top performance tyre and has the edge over other mid range and some premium makes, however the gap is very small.

Bought a full set for my Golf GT wasn't sure if i should stick with Goodyears or these, but the Toyo T1-R were my final decision. After driving on them for a few miles i can't believe how good they are. They grip the road really well in the dry even when your pushing it to the limit. Their excellent in the wet probably because of the tread design. Not sure on tyre wear yet. Highly recommended for enthusiastic, sporty drivers.
