Bridgestone Potenza RE050A found on many premium luxury and sports cars most famous on BMW’s. Available as run flat tyre and standard tyre. The Bridgestone RE050A tread design is for ultra performance in the wet and the dry. Bridgestone claim they have the best formula for a performance tyre with exceptional handling in high speeds and traction in the wet but also comfortable. Most who drive cars that have the RE050's would probably have to buy the same tyre again, there is very limited choice in most sizes especially if you have the RE050 in the run flat types. The Bridgestone RE050 is a quality tyre when it first came out but over time it has lost some ground to other makes.

	Had these tyres from new on my car, done about 8k miles on them are they are way below half worn, really disappointed since I driven normal, I mean I have not thrashed the car around and was expecting a lot better tyre wear. The grip levels are very good in the dry and below par in wet. The tyre doesn't give you the same confidence in the wet. The older the tyre get the more it is not able to disperse the water and it makes the grip worse. I must say i am going to try the Goodyear’s, as I was expecting better.
