The Pirelli P6000 has a unique tread design and a true classic in the sense that it has become much an icon of the Pirelli brand in itself. The P6000 has been around for a long time, probably one of the oldest running tyres in production. The tread pattern is the reason why it is so successful, people still like it’s cool design. In our opinion the P6000 really has stood the test of time, and was highly sought after when it came out, and over the years it has carried on selling. To be honest Pirelli hasn’t really come up with a proper replacement for it there are certainly Pirelli tyres that perform better than this, but not in looks. The reviews on this tyre are mixed which has even confused us, at one end there are people who have given it top marks, and equal in numbers there are those that are disappointed with its performance. To be honest the P6000 is old technology, and was very good for it’s time but today there are far better tyres out there inc the Pirelli P6 or P7.

Customer Comments

Tyres came on the car from the previous owner and i am impressed. They hold the road really well but as the tread wears it does lose its grip in the wet however; that is to be expected. The Pirelli P6000 does seem to be hard to get hold off, and i was in luck to find them online at Ctyres. The price was really good as well, so really happy with my purchase.

The Pirelli P6000 was on special offer, so I went for these I did pick them up cheap nearly as cheap as a budget brand. The P6000 is okay, reliable in the dry and slightly lack grip in the wet overall they are okay. Reading up on various reviews i think there are better tyres out there. The P6000 is not a proper performance tyre even though they do look very purposeful, if you try pushing the car in wet it doesn't grip, and dry grip is just above average. Tyre is a little noisy aswell and tread wear is just average.

You would expect more from these Pirelli P6000's, but sadly they are dissapointing. Poor grip in dry and the car doesn't get much traction in wet, on standing water my traction light comes on so not good. They are noisy on all roads, and are very rigid you don't get any feedback, and it always feels as if the car will slide. The only plus is they look good on the car, and they have so far lasted 15k on the front the rears have done alot more miles. Eventhough they are worth the money I will be buying something else next time.
