The S1 evo K107 is another performance tyre mostly similar to the K110 evo. What’s not similar is the S1 evo tread design, it is different to other Hankook performance tyres this tyre has 4 straight rib grooves and then one of the grooves feature an almost arty like pattern. I’m not sure if this is just for aesthetics or if it serves a purpose. Anyhow when the S1 evo came out around 2010, it got a lot of press reviews / tests and won many accolades, and a year on S1 Evo is still strong. Our opinion the S1 evo is really one of a few all-round performers that score well in every department. Performance is blistering in the dry, the wet grip is still good but it is far better dry performer. We've not heard any bad points on this tyre they even say it give good mileage and is comfortable. Seems Hankook has served an ace with the K107.
