The Hankook K415 is designed for saloons, mpv’s and city cars. It is getting phased out and is going to be to be replaced by the Hankook K425 eco. The K415 was labelled the OPTIMO by Hankook which I think was clever marketing of its credentials in being comfortable and durable. Our opinion the K415 is refined and comfortable and will last forever, well not forever but better than most makes around this price tag. The k415 fairs well in the grip sector considering it isn’t a proper performance tyre and will be mostly fitted to family cars this is a good tyre we would recommend.

Customer Comments

Had the Hankooks fitted as replacements to Continentals, and to be honest the are decent for the money, since the review is based on the tyre itself and not on how much they cost, i would rate the Hankook just better than average. I guess i'm comparing them to my previous tyres, and for sure they were better in every sector apart from wear. These Hankook 's don't seem to give me the confidence and road feel, i'm always a bit cautious especially in the wet. They don't suit my driving style, which is very agrresive. The hankook's may give me better mileage and cost less, despite this I rather stick to the Continentals next time purely because they grip better.
