The Dulop Sport Maxx is High performance tyre intended for sport cars and performance saloons. As the name suggests this tyre was designed to give maximum performance, and it is why performance-minded drivers would choose this tyre. The tread pattern is rotational and features a central rib which incorporates the SP Maxx logo. The SpMaxx features very large blocks on each side which enhance the tyres road contact surface especially while cornering. Our opinion the SP Maxx has been around for some time when it cam out this tyre was a top draw performance tyre. Dry grip was phenomenally good you could literally throw the car into bends at high speeds. The wet performance was very good as well. The SP Maxx was very predictable in terms of feedback and grip on the road. The tread wear was also good considering it was a good performance tyre and normally the two don’t go hand in hand. All said the SP MAXX has had it days, an excellent tyre in its time there are slightly better tyres on the market including the new SP Maxx TT range.

I have had the SP Maxx on my Jag from new and have had no problems with them. I have always liked these tyres for what they have to offer, they do the job for me. I must say i'm not a mad driver and the tyres work for me in the wet and dry. Feedback is good, very predictable tyre you can loose some traction in the wet but overall that is acceptable. This is my third set, and i always get good milage out of them, this time i had to shop around as they are getting hard to get hold off. My last pair were more expensive compared to what i paid a year ago, i have been told it's because of raw materiel prices. There are also new Dunlop variants you can get, but Im not sure what Dunlop are set out to do because with all the different SP Maxx tyres i nearly bought the wrong ones because apparently they are all called SP sport Maxx.
