| Do drivers in the UK require winter tyres or a all season type tyre. This is a required law in some EU countries that a winter tyre must be on the vehicle during winter months. Then changed over to summer tyre during the summer season. A survey we recently carried out with drivers of Worcester reviled that most people think that the tyres they have on their vehicle are all weather tyres and don't know the difference between a winter tyre and summer tyre. Most garages in the UK and Worcester do not have the access to winter tyre stock. The weather in most parts of the UK apart from the highlands and some parts of Scotland is okay for a summer tyre even in the winter there are the odd few days when we temperature drops really low or when we have snow that a winter tyre is required. |
