Had two tyres booked at garage in Darlington got to the centre and I couldn't find the locking wheel nut to get the tyres off. Garage said it should be in the car boot or glove box however we couldn't find it. Last time I had the tyres changed was over a year ago and that also was at a garage in Darlington. However it been a long time and they didn't even remember me. The tyre mechanic advised that I either buy a new one from VW main dealers in Darlington or we can remove at a cost of £8 per wheel with force. I decided to have them removed and put ordinary nuts instead to be honest my wheels are not expensive and I only have some cheap tyres on the car so not too worried about them getting pinched.
